How to ride

Commuter trains between Millbrook and Hallett Junction are turn-up-and-go: buy a ticket at the platform machine or from the conductor, and stand where the yellow line is painted.

Dial-a-Ride is different. Ring the office by four o'clock the day before and we will agree a pick-up window with you. If you are running late on the day, ring us — the driver would rather wait two minutes than leave you standing.

Do I need to book?

Not for the commuter line. Dial-a-Ride is booked by telephone, by four o'clock the day before.

Can I bring a wheelchair or a pram?

Yes, on every service. Both platform ends at Millbrook are level, and the Dial-a-Ride vehicles have a ramp. Tell us when you book and the driver will allow the time.

What if the last train is cancelled?

We put a notice on this site and telephone anybody booked on a connecting Dial-a-Ride trip. There is a taxi arrangement for the final departure — ask the conductor.

Ask for a Dial-a-Ride trip

Tell us where and when, at any hour. Somebody rings you back to confirm — this is a request, not a booking.

This is a request, not a booking. Somebody will contact you to confirm before you travel. Trips are usually agreed by four o'clock the day before.
